Winter Showjumping 2022-2023
There will not be any unaffiliated Pony Showjumping this winter season due to numbers falling below the level of support required for economic viability.
Eligibility for Horse Classes
Horse classes run from 60cm to 1.00m
Horses must be over 148cm and ridden by riders aged 12 and over on the date of the show. Riders of horses who are under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
In the interest of 'fair play', entries for the 60cm Competition will not be accepted from combinations considered to be overqualified, by virtue of either experience, or previous results. In particular, but not exclusively, the following will apply:-
- No horses with a current BS or BE membership
- No combinations which have won this class twice or more at any time
- No combination in this class may enter above 85cm on any one show day
Rules for all competitions
- Correct dress (according to BS rules) must be worn for ALL show jumping classes - INCLUDING CLEAR ROUNDS.
- Classes will be run under BS rules - tack must be correct.
- Show Jumping entries can only be made on the day, in advance of competing.
- Entry Fee Discounts for Blackdyke Farm Competition Club members (£2 per class) are limited to six classes (£12.00) on each show day. Clear round discount is £1 per round.
- Jump off rounds will follow immediately on after completion of a clear first round.
- Classes will not run with less than four entries.
